Notes for the owner — not part of the website

Things found on goldenbell.ca on 25 July 2026 that need a decision before a real site could go live. Every one of these was checked directly, not guessed.

  1. Opening hours are published five different ways. The top of your Bridgeland page and the footer of that same page give different hours; the homepage gives a third set (they match the Richmond page); Google says you are closed Mondays while your own site says you are open; Ritual gives a fourth closing time. That is why this concept leaves hours blank.
  2. Menu prices look one revision out of date. Nearly every dish is $1.00–$1.50 higher on Ritual than on your own site — a flat increase that was applied there and never here.
  3. Your menu page blocks pinch-zoom on phones. The page sets user-scalable=no, so a customer physically cannot zoom in to read a dish. On an 86-line menu that is the single worst problem.
  4. The site returns "403 Forbidden" to desktop browsers. Content is only served to phones, which hurts search and locks some customers out entirely.
  5. McLeod is still in the footer of every page with a "View Mcleod Map & Info" link — /mcleod/ returns 404 and no McLeod licence exists.
  6. The new 17 Ave location has no working page. /17-ave-sw/ returns 403, and the address on the site (1112 17 Ave SW) does not match the City licence (#105, 1013 17 Ave SW).
  7. Two URLs serve the same Bridgeland menu — /bridgeland/ and /bridgeland-calgary/ — which splits your search ranking between them.
  8. The site still carries its 2018 setup furniture: the only blog post is the hosting company's demo article, and the footer shows "Archives: July 2018", "Uncategorized" and a "Log in" link.
  9. The only photograph on the site is a stock photo of Hoi An, Vietnam — not one picture of your food, your room or your front door.
  10. The logo reads "Vietnamese Cusine". Corrected to "Cuisine" in this concept — flagging it rather than changing it quietly.
  11. Your address is published two ways: 920 1 Ave NE on every listing, 916 1 Av NE on the City licence. Probably two civic numbers on one building, but worth settling.
  12. No contact page, no email, no reservation path and no social links exist anywhere on the site.
